BUENOS AIRES FIRST THEMED WINE HOTEL

Awarded as "The best boutique Hotel in Buenos Aires in 2011" from Cuisine & Vins, the Mio has the fusion of luxury. High Tech functionality and sheer pleasure is the latest design addition to revamped Buenos Aires. Whoever has already stayed there will certainly remember the brightly polished bathrooms with meticulously engraved wooden bathtubs carved from single tree trunks.

Mio is the first wine themed hotel owned by the Catena wine producing Family, with 30 rooms in total.

Situated in the exclusive Avenida Quintana, Mio is close to high end shopping with designer boutiques and not far from the Patio Bullrich mall while the Eva Peron's tomb in Revoleta Cemetery is just a few blocks away.







The astonishing 6m high central Door made from Wine Barrels is a piece of Art on its own.


In the Bedrooms, the decor comprises French Oak, marble details, as well as colorful rugs and sofas.


Other features of MIO Buenos Aires include the beautifully appointed spa offering Wine therapies, the library and the "To" Restaurant with a menu of tapas prepared by chef Leandro Dimare.

Mio rooms have semi open bathrooms and carved wood bathtub made of calden (a native wood of Argentina) gets the center stage in front of the floor to ceiling glass features marble and glass. wine barrel woods, rich deeply grained wood floors and cabinets, polished gray concrete walls. 

All rooms are equipped with Ipod dock stations, free Wi-Fi, 32 inch television sets, DVD players and 80 High Definition channels.
English & Spanish newspapers are available free of charge.

The mini bar has except the typical liquors, specialty wines for sales, along with unlimited free house wine on tap piped straight to the rooms and a complimentary bottle of Argentine's finest sparkling wine.






The eighth floor Spa and gym with a stone lined Whirlpool, wine treatment therapies and steam sauna with shower and head to toe pulsing water heads.




A great location, polite multilingual staff, definitely a place to visit!
