Stylish Slippers

 Who could ever imagine that wearing slippers would look cool enough to wear at almost any occasion from a walk in the park to the red carpet, a few years back that would seem at the very least inappropriate or just plain crazy.

However the past two years almost every respectable fashion house has delivered a slipper shoe weather it’s covered in studs and diamonds, funky fabrics or my personal favorite velvet customized with one’s own monogram or personal design.

Del Toro is the brand that started the madness a few years back when young Mathew Chevalard and friends decided they had to all wear matching slipper style shoes for graduation only to find out that customizing back then was quite the expensive hobby, and thus an idea was born!

 Since then Del Toro - a company made essentially by a group of friends with Mathew Chevalard as the company president - have succeeded in convincing the world that slippers are cool. From the NBA team to Oprah Winfrey, singers, models and actors today every respectable fashionista              owns a pair.

    

Although today the stylish slippers can be found almost by any brand, there is one more designer (besides Del Toro) who can customize a pair for you and that’s Penelope Chilvers who also designs for other fashion houses and has also been loved by cool kids all around!!!

If you don’t have a pair already it’s certainly time to find the right pair of comfy slippers for you, and not to worry they are here to stay for quite some.
