LONDON RESTAURANT OXO TOWER
Sometimes a stunning vista helps smooth out a business dinner, and the view from the OXO Tower is perhaps London ’s best looking over the Thames toward central London from the South Bank.
Deluxe ingredients appear often on chef Jeremy Bloors dinner menu, even when playing second fiddle witness the ‘lobster mash’ on the side of the pan fried John Dory fillet.
Try the beef carpaccio, here teamed with teriyaki onions, shimeji mushrooms and wasabi mayonnaise. The Soft-shell crab was great, fried in fine golden breadcrumbs, with kimchi slaw and a Korean barbecue mayonnaise lending eastern bite.
The Restaurant also offers a superb vegetarian / vegan menu and the sommelier team is on hand to assist with the first class wine list.
