WHO DOESN'T NEED A LITTLE THERAPY?
Located in Brittish Columbia, Therapy Vineyards & Guesthouse is situated on the Naramata Bench in Penticton.
The grapes are sourced locally from the Naramata Bench and Oliver area in the Southern Okanagan Valley. Under the influence of winemaker Steven Latchford, Therapy produces white, red and sparkling wine (Fizzio-Therapy), and has their fair share of awards.
As well as indulging in the cleverly named series of homegrown wines - Freudian, Rorschach and Ego - you can also book accommodation at the Guesthouse which is said to offer an elegant and 'therapeutic' getaway.
Freud's Ego 2009
Deep Raspberry in colour, this wine is matched with black currants, white pepper and leather on the nose. Followed up by toasty oak and dark chocolate aromas, the palate has great focus towards the soft tannins and toasty complexity.
The finish is smooth and textured with lots of red fruit which leads to a wine that can be enjoyed now, or aged for a couple of years.
