The Glenfiddich Rare Collection 1974 Vintage Reserve

A UNIQUE SINGLE MALT - 1.000 NUMBERED BOTTLES WORLDWIDE

There aren't much like a good old Scotch... Of course plain good is not sufficient. Especially when discussion revolves around the Glenfiddich Rare Collection of 1974 Vintage reserve.

This single malt is one of the very few Glenfiddich Scotches to be distilled in more than one cask, in order to increase worldwide availability through the extra quantity...How much is this increased availability? Don't get your hopes up... Only 1000 bottles and just 35 of those will make it to the United States Market.

A small release of the 1974 Vintage whiskey was selected by Malt Master Brian Kinsman, Ian Millar the Global Brand Ambassador and the owner of the world's largest Glenfiddich collection Hans Henrik Hansen along with the local brand ambassadors all 13 of them from around the world.
Rich, sweet, oaky it has everything within this excellent thirty six year bottling.

The nose has swatches of vanilla, reams of leather and stacks of cedar wood. The aroma firmly states the presence without being brash and allows softer notes of liquorish and pear to have their own moment.
Winter spices of cinnamon and nutmeg hold the foreground but classic Glenfiddich apples and pears lie int he wings ready to have their turn.

Keep in mind if you find yourself sipping this, consider yourself extra extra lucky and privileged.
