Fold Your Suits & Shirts Like a Pro

FOLDING YOUR SUITS & SHIRTS IN A SUITCASE

Being a professional in sales for over a decade, international travelling was part of my life. Meeting new people seeing new destinations, learning about new cultures are just some of the perks.
Today we'll learn more about the headaches of it, and to be more specific on packing you own suitcase.

Getting at a destination and having an important meeting upon arrival requires a thorough plan on how to pack your clothes. Suits, shirts, trousers, ties, underwear, athletic gear for those jogging mornings or short visits at the Hotel's gym need all a careful plan so they keep their crispiness and not loose their initial folding.

After having tried a few dozen different theories on the best packing way including the army style (roll everything), four times folding and packing close to each other and many others we have concluded that the best way comes in two parts.
We have included a short video of one of the finest tailors of UK showing you step by step how to do the one suit action.

The basic rule dictates that underwear/belts/shoes come first, then trousers come next then ties the jackets/blazers and finally the shirts to get less wrinkled.

The following video is a new technique that folds the suit with its trousers in one set. We've tried it many times and it really works. All you need are couple of large size Ziploc bags that you can get from any local supermarket.

Remember in case your jacket or a shirt or a tie comes out all wrinkled by a misuse put it on a hanger in your bathroom somewhere high and let the hot water run for 10 minutes. Let it hang in there with all the steams with closed door. After a while it will look like freshly ironed since steam tends to go up humidifies your shirt or suit  and drops.
